Norfolk had an impressive start to her collegiate career at Valparaiso University, starting all 18 matches and playing every minute of every game (1,659). She played a vital role on the backline and also contributed on the attacking half of the pitch as she scored her first goal just four games into her freshman season. Norfolk was named to the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) All-Freshman Team.
Her contributions to the defense limited opponents to eight goals and seven shutouts across 14 matches.
Norfolk started all 18 matches her Junior season and notched her first career assist on a golden-goal winner versus Indiana State. The assist and defensive prowess earned her MVC Defensive Player of the Week. She also recorded another assist in the MVC Tournament semifinal against Evansville.
During her final collegiate season, Norfolk started 16 of 19 matches. Norfolk scored her second career goal, a game winner over UIC. She missed three matches due to injury but was able to return to the field for the MVC Tournament semifinal against Murray State and was named to the MVC All-Tournament Team.
At the prep level, Norfolk focused on her ECNL play with FC Wisconsin and chose not to play high school soccer.
Norfolk doubled majored in biology and chemistry at Valparaiso University.
