Gracie Dunaway

A former four year starter in the Big Ten Conference, Gracie Dunaway arrives in Eagan for her first season with Aurora FC in 2026.

Dunaway, a forward, spent 2021 through 2024 with Purdue University, becoming a day-one contributor for the Boilermakers upon arriving on campus. In four seasons, Dunaway started 65 of her 72 appearances, playing over 4,600 minutes and recording 40 points.

As a freshman in 2021, Dunaway started every match (22) for Purdue, chipping in seven assists and one goal en route to helping the Boilermakers reach the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament for only the fourth time in program history.

Her seven assists sit tied for second-most by a true freshman in school history.

Dunaway followed her inaugural campaign up with a team-high six goals in 2022, once again starting every appearance (17) for Purdue. Dunaway once again led the Boilermakers in goals the following season, scoring three goals across her 15 appearances that year.

As a senior in 2024, Dunaway was entrusted the captain’s armband for Purdue, closing out her collegiate career with 18 appearances, all while tallying four goals and chipping in three assists.

Dunaway’s 18 career goals still rank 10th-most in Purdue history.

The Pennsylvania native is the older sister of Reese Dunaway, who spent the 2025 USL W League season with the Long Island Rough Riders.
