This team was started by a small group of community members who believe in the growth of women’s soccer in Minnesota. They bring a diverse set of experiences as players, fans, and members of the community.

Minnesota began play in May 2022 in the new USL W League. The USL has successfully build several lower-division men’s leagues. In 2021, we became one of the founding members of the new pre-professional league.

The USL W League is made up of the very best amateur and aspiring professional players in the country. Our team features top college players, as well as women playing professionally overseas who are looking for a way to grow their games over the summer.

In the summer and fall of 2021, we launched a community investment campaign where community members were able to purchase shares of our club. This campaign was limited to $1M worth of shares and we quickly sold out to an astounding 3080 investors. Those investors helped choose the team name and crest. They will also elect two members of the team’s governing board.

The investment period is closed. There is no current plan to reopen investments at this time.
