Angela Gutierrez

One of the Missouri Valley Conference’s most prolific attacking midfielders, Gutierrez heads to Eagan for her first season with Aurora in 2025.

Collegiately, Gutierrez has spent the past two seasons at NCAA Division I Drake University. The Minnesota native has recorded 37 total appearances for the Bulldogs, logging nearly 2,300 total minutes in two years.

As a freshman in 2023, Gutierrez tied the program’s single-season freshman assist record with five, chipping in six goals. She earned MVC Freshman of the Week honors five times that season and later won the 2023 MVC Freshman of the Year award, becoming just the third player in Drake history to do so.

2024 served as a productive follow-up season for Gutierrez, which culminated in all-conference third team honors. She started 18 of her 20 appearances that season, posting four goals with one assist and playing a career best 1,285 minutes.

At the club level in Minnesota, Gutierrez played for Salvo SC and MN Eclipse.
