A native of Minnesota, Westlund returns to Aurora for her second season with the club, and first with the first team, in 2025.
Westlund first joined the Aurora by starring for Minnesota Aurora 2, Aurora’s secondary UPSL Women side, during its inaugural season in 2024. She scored a team-best 13 goals, starting 10 of her 12 appearances en route to earning UPSL W Midwest Division First Team honors.
Westlund helped Aurora 2 to an undefeated regular season in 2024, as the secondary side ultimately reached the UPSL W Midwest Championship final.
Collegiately, Westlund plays at NCAA Division I California Baptist University, alongside her younger sister Anya. In two seasons, Westlund has logged 28 appearances, while playing over 1,300 minutes.
2024 served as Westlund’s breakout season in a Lancers’ shirt. Her 10 points ranked third among all Cal Baptist players, and her 3 goals finished the campaign tied for the second most by a CBU player. Westlund’s 4 assists were also the second most by a Lancer that season.
At the club level in Minnesota, Westlund helped NOSC Blast to a US Youth National Championship as a high school senior in 2023.
