2025 marks Hayes’ first season with the Aurora. She attends the University of Memphis as a graduate student, after having spent her undergraduate years at Miami (Ohio).

As an undergrad, she started in 64 matches, playing over 5,650 minutes. During her time with Miami, she was responsible for a team-high 4 assists in 2023, and a career-high 7 shots during a 2-1 victory over Toledo. She also boasts a career-high 8 assists and several game-winning goals from the 2022 season.

Hayes’ first season for Memphis came in 2024, where she started in all of their 19 games. She helped Memphis’ defense to 8 shutouts in 9 games.

Hayes has received an abundance of accolades throughout her collegiate career, including four All-MAC selections, 2023 Female Arthur J. Ashe Sports Scholar of the Year, and second-team selections for the United Soccer Coaches All-Midwest Second Team and the All-Western Catholic Conference Second Team.

Hayes’ club soccer days began with the Baltimore Armour Girls’ Development Academy. She also won a U-23 championship with the Washington Spirit Reserves in 2019.
