Evelyn Calhoon joins the Aurora in 2025 for her first season. She is a graduate student at the University of Minnesota, where she plays for the Gophers’ women’s soccer team.

Her graduate career with the University of Minnesota began in 2024, where she started in 20 of Minnesota’s 22 games, recording 1,229 minutes played. She has been instrumental in several key games for the Gophers, including their 2-1 victory in their home opener against Creighton on Aug. 15, where she had both assists. Calhoon also scored in Minnesota’s 3-0 victory against Indiana which lifted them to a 2024 Big Ten Tournament bid.

Prior to joining Minnesota, she spent her undergraduate years at Brown University. While at Brown, she had multiple assists and goals and also helped Brown win two consecutive Ivy League titles. Calhoon received All-Ivy Second Team honors as a sophomore in 2021, and CSC Academic All-District Team honors in 2022, as well as being named team captain that same year.

Her club experience comes from Mountain View Los Altos SC. She was a part of the 2014 US Soccer Regional Training Pool and was also selected for ECNL PDP Northwest in 2017. Calhoon never missed a start during her four club seasons.
