Mersereau, a native of Florida, spent her 2025 college season at University of Central Florida (UCF). Prior to that, Mersereau spent her first three seasons in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) with University of Pittsburgh, from 2022 to 2024.
As a freshman in 2022, Mersereau was a key piece for Pitt’s run to the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 as one of the first subs off the bench. She appeared in 12 matches during her inaugural collegiate campaign, totaling 227 minutes.
In 2023, as a sophomore, logged 150 minutes across six matches, once again helping the Panthers to a deep NCAA Tournament run, this time reaching the Elite Eight. That season, she played 22 minutes in Pitt’s opening round win against Ohio State.
During her junior campaign in 2024, Mersereau made seven appearances, good for 125 total minutes, helping Pitt to a pair of clean sheets.
Following the 2024 season, Mersereau transferred to UCF for her senior year.
As a senior in 2025, Mersereau put up career high numbers. The defender appeared in 21 matches for the Knights, starting 19 contests and playing a single-season best 1,438 minutes. She would play every minute of six different matches for UCF that year, playing a part in eight clean sheets and helping the Knights to an NCAA Tournament berth, the program’s first since 2022.
At the club level, Mersereau was the no. 45 ranked defender in the country, earning a United States National Soccer Training invite in 2017. In 2021, Mersereau was invited to the US Youth National Team Identification Center.
