Hansen holds the Minnesota Aurora franchise record for career goals (16) and points (38).
Hansen established herself as a top forward during Minnesota Aurora’s inaugural season, appearing in every match. She scored four goals during the regular season and tied for third overall on the team in points (9). Hansen won her first Star Tribune Star of the Game on June 19 in a 2-0 victory over Kaw Valley FC.
Hansen had a prolific second season with Aurora, scoring 12 goals and notching five assists. Her 12 goals is Aurora’s single-season scoring record. Hansen won the Star Tribune Star of the Game award three times, the most in Aurora history (5/27, 5/31, and 6/24).
During her first year at South Dakota State University (SDSU), Hansen recorded 18 points (7 goals, 4 assists) and was named the 2019 Summit League Freshman of the Year. Hansen tallied seven and 14 goals in her sophomore and junior seasons, respectively.
In 2022, she broke SDSU’s points record, was named team captain, and was the Summit League Offensive Player of the Year.
Hansen was named to the 2023 Mac Hermann Trophy Watch List (preseason). Before a leg injury ended her final season at SDSU, Hansen claimed the program record in goals (44) and point (107). She is also third in SDSU all-time assists (19).
Hansen transferred to the University of Iowa for the 2024 season where she will play alongside Aurora teammates Taylor Kane and Sofia Bush.
Hansen was named Burnsville High School Female Athlete of the Year and won a Minnesota State Cup with Maple Brook Premier in 2019.
