School: Washington State University

A goalkeeper with experience at both the college and youth National team levels, Cooper joins Aurora for her first season with the club.

Cooper is completing her senior season at Washington State University, where she earned Pac-12 Conference Freshman of the Year and Goalkeeper of the Year honors, a first in Cougars’ program history. It marked only the third time in school history a Wazzu keeper earned the top honor in the conference.

During her sophomore season, Cooper earned starts in each of Washington State’s 19 matches that season, logging 1,695 minutes and recording five clean sheets.

As a junior in 2023, Cooper started 18 of the Cougars’ 19 matches that year, again playing over 1,600 minutes in goal.

Cooper helped guide Washington State through conference realignment in 2024, garnering second team all-conference honors in Washington State’s first season in the West Coast Conference (WCC). During her senior season, the Texas native recorded a career-best 60 saves, finishing with 207 stops in her college career.

At the National Team level, Cooper has multiple Youth International caps under her belt, earning a start of the US Women’s U-17 National Team against England in 2020. She was also called up to US Women’s U-20 National Team camp ahead of the 2022 CONCACAF U-20 Championships.

Cooper prepped at Shattuck-St. Mary’s Academy in Minnesota, long known for producing some of the top talent in the country. In 2019, she was named Girls Best XI Goalkeeper for the Central Region.
