A native of East Lansing, Michigan, Olivia Alberta joins Aurora FC for her first season with the club in 2026.

Albert, a defender, arrives in Eagan following four seasons at the University of Indiana, where she logged over 3,000 minutes across 54 career appearances. 

After playing five matches as a freshman in 2022, Albert has played at least 15 matches each of the last three collegiate seasons.

During the 2023 campaign, Albert appeared in a single-season career high 17 fixtures and was a crucial piece of a Hoosiers’ backline that kept 10 clean sheets that season. Indiana would go on to win 12 matches in 2023, advancing to the opening round of the NCAA Tournament.

In 2024, Albert would post a then-career best 829 minutes on the pitch, starting seven of the 15 matches she played for the Hoosiers.

The 2025 college season saw Albert thrust into a full-time starting role along the back for Indiana. She started all 17 matches for IU en route to playing a career high 1,524 minutes. Albert also notched her first career point during the 2025 campaign, dishing a first half assist against Ohio University.

Prior to arriving in Bloomington, Albert was a standout for Midwest United at the club level, serving as the team’s captain while also earning an invite to play in France during the 2018 Generation adidas Tournament.
