A day one starter in the NCAA’s Big Ten Conference, Olivia Rush joins Aurora FC for the 2026 USL W League season.
Rush, a midfielder and native of Michigan, has spent the last four college seasons with the University of Indiana, playing nearly 5,000 career minutes with 71 career appearances.
As a freshman in 2022, Rush was called upon to be a full-time starter for the Hoosiers, making 17 appearances that year. After joining the starting XI ahead of IU’s second match of the season, Rush went on to start 16 straight fixtures, playing all 90 minutes three times.
Rush followed that season up with a 2023 campaign that, while playing fewer minutes, saw her appear in a career high 20 matches. She was featured in the starting lineup 17 times that season, helping the Hoosiers reach the NCAA Tournament for the first time in 10 seasons.
In 2024, Rush again appeared in 17 matches while starting 16 fixtures. She found her way onto the score sheet for the first time in her career, slotting a 59th minute goal past Brown Bears starting keeper and fellow Heartland Division foe Bella Schopp (River Light FC). She finished the campaign with two goals.
2025 saw Rush start all 17 of Indiana’s matches en route to her registering a single-season career best 1,509 minutes, again finding the back of the net that season for her third career goal.
Rush also recorded her first career assist during the 2025 season, when she tallied a first half assist against Bellarmine.
During her club career, Rush was tapped as an ECNL Player to Watch in 2019, garnering Midwest Conference First Team honors in 2020-2021.
