A midfielder with a history of impactful play across multiple collegiate power conferences, Skye Leach joins for her first season with Aurora FC in 2026.

Leach, originally from Texas, spent the first three seasons of her NCAA Division I career with Baylor, before transferring to Kentucky in 2025, where she was teammates with Aurora all-time leading scorer Cat Rapp. Over the course of four years, Leach racked up 5,597 minutes played, while starting 60 of her 75 appearances.

As a freshman at Baylor in 2022, Leach gained valuable experience as one of the Bears’ first substitutes off the bench, appearing in 14 matches and starting one. She logged 512 minutes in her debut campaign, dishing out an assist against University of Minnesota.

In 2023, became a consistent face in Baylor’s starting unit, earning starting nods in 17 of her 19 appearances that season. Across her 1,497 minutes as a sophomore, she played the full 90 minutes 10 times.

2024, her final season in a Baylor shirt, was her best for BU. Leach started a career high 21 matches as a junior, playing 1,800 minutes. She finished with three points that season, including scoring her first career goal against Iowa State.

After transferring to Kentucky in 2025, Leach once again recorded new career best marks. She started all 21 of her appearances for the Wildcats, matching her single-season high, while registering new career bests six points and two goals, one of which proved to be the match-winner against Mercyhurst.

At the prep level, Leach helped guide her high school team to a state title and national number one ranking during the 2021 season. 

One of three siblings, Leach’s oldest sister also played for Baylor from 2015-18.
