Talia Coury
Centerback/Midfield
Hometown: Phoenix, AZ
School: Idaho State University
A center back with multiple youth international caps under her belt, Talia Coury heads to the Twin Cities for her first season with Minnesota Aurora FC.
Coury, a rising junior from Phoenix, AZ, arrives fresh off two productive seasons for Idaho State University of the Big Sky Conference where she has seen over 2,300 minutes of action in a Bengals shirt.
Since arriving in Pocatello, Coury has made an instant impact for ISU. As a freshman in 2024, she appeared in 17 matches, playing nearly 1,000 minutes. That season, she started 4 of the Bengals’ final 6 matches while playing every minute of two fixtures.
She followed her freshman season up with a 2025 campaign that saw her log a new single-season best 3 goals, one of which helped the Bengals rescue a point at the death against in-state rivals Boise State. Coury started each of Idaho State’s 16 matches during her sophomore season, playing all 90 minutes 13 times.
In October of the 2025 season, she earned a call-up to the Mexican U23 National Team camp in Finland, where she saw international action against both Denmark and Finland. She was later called back to the team to compete in February 2026.
Coury became the second Bengal to feature in international play for Mexico, joining the program’s second all-time leading scorer and the Mexico Senior National Team’s María Sánchez.
Prior to starring at the Division I level, Coury spent one summer with the Minnesota Dutch Lions FC (formerly Rochester United) in Rochester, Minnesota, which competes in the WPSL.
