A five-year net minder out of the Southeastern Conference, Taylor Fox arrives in Eagan for her first season with Aurora FC in 2026.

Fox, a native of Florida, joins following five seasons at the University of South Carolina, where she amassed 740 minutes in net for the Gamecocks and finished with a career 81% save percentage.

As a freshman in 2020, Fox started six matches for South Carolina, including during their NCAA Tournament run that season, becoming the first USC keeper to keep a clean sheet in their NCAA Tournament debut since 2011. 

Fox closed her first collegiate season out with 12 total saves and a 0.50 goals against average, the second best for a freshman in program history.

In 2021, Fox appeared in two matches as a sophomore. During her junior and senior seasons, Fox appeared in two matches in total.

As a fifth year senior in 2024, Fox returned to play in four matches, good for 143 total minutes while making two saves and allowing no goals across her appearances. She again etched her name into the history books, becoming the first goalkeeper in school history to convert a penalty during the opening round of the 2024 NCAA Tournament.

Prior to arriving in Columbia, Fox rose through the development academy of the NWSL’s Orlando Pride. In 2016, Fox earned a call-up to the US U16 Women’s National Team, where she participated in training camp under the direction of former USWNT midfielder and Aurora FC Community Owner Kacey White.

Fox later earned a call-up to the US U18 Women’s National Team.

In 2018, Fox earned a chance to train with the Orlando Pride First Team, joining the club’s main roster for a preseason friendly against Florida State University.
