School: University of Miami

As a freshman at the University of Miami, Shell appeared in eight games, rotating between defense and midfield and registering three shots. 

Shell got her first start for the Hurricanes as a sophomore versus Clemson, and scored her first collegiate goal in a 4-0 win over Florida International University.  

Shell solidified her role on the Hurricanes’ defense and started every match (16) as a junior. In addition to her defensive contributions, Shell scored the game-winning goal over Florida – Miami’s first win over their rival since 2012.

As a senior, Shell was one of six field players to appear in all 16 contests. Shell earned her first career assist against North Carolina State and recorded her second career assist the next match versus Boston College.

Shell utilized her fifth year of eligibility at Miami, making 15 appearances, adding another goal to her career total, and recording her first multi-assist game (2 assists against Stetson).

Shell earned her bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism and a master’s degree in business analytics from the University of Miami. In addition to her studies, she was president of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).

Prior to the University of Miami, Shell competed on the United States Youth Futsal National Team.
