A midfielder with nearly 4,000 career minutes at the NCAA Division I level, Thalia Morisi heads to Minnesota for her first season with Aurora FC in 2026.
Morisi, a native of New York, arrives in Eagan after spending the 2024 and 2025 college seasons at University of Kentucky. Prior to her time in Lexington, Morisi played two seasons at Old Dominion from 2022 to 2023.
As a freshman in 2022, Morisi was an immediate contributor for ODU, starting six of her 17 appearances in a Monarchs shirt that season. She opened her college scoring account that year, tallying her lone goal of the season against American University.
During her sophomore season in 2023, Morisi became a constant face in the Old Dominion starting unit, earning 21 appearances, 18 of which she started. Morisi netted a then-career high four goals to go along with one assist, the first of her career. She closed out her second collegiate season earning Sun Belt Conference All-Tournament team honors.
Following her sophomore campaign, Morisi transferred to Kentucky ahead of the 2024 season.
As a junior in 2024, the New York native appeared in 19 matches for the Wildcats, handing out a single-season career best two assists that season.
In 2025, Morisi’s senior season, the midfielder put together her best at the college level to date. Morisi started and played in a career high 21 matches, logging 1,737 minutes. Her seven goals, also a career best, finished tied with former Aurora forward Cat Rapp for most on the team. That duo helped Kentucky post a 12 win season in 2025, ultimately earning a spot in that year’s NCAA Tournament.
At the prep level, Morisi closed out her high school career earning All-State New York First Team honors in 2021 and was named a Long Island Top-100 player that year.
