Eric Rossitch

Eric joins Minnesota Aurora with a lifelong playing career including college and semi-pro experience, and a 10+ year career working in professional, pre-professional and elite youth soccer spaces including NWSL, USLW, GA and MLS. He is passionate about being a positive steward in women’s soccer, creating safe and elite coaching environments where players develop community, a long-term love for the game, a growth mindset and a high-level soccer IQ. 

He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill studying Exercise & Sport Science and Spanish (B.A.), captaining the men’s club soccer team to a National Championship in 2015 as well as serving the 23-time National Champion women’s soccer program as a training player and camp coach. He also earned his Master’s in Communication Leadership (M.C.) from the University of Washington with a focus on gender equity in sport and football. Eric spent the majority of his coaching career in Washington state, primarily working in the coaching ranks for NWSL’s Seattle Reign FC as a video analyst for their first team and head coach within the youth academy – during which the club captured the 2022 NWSL Shield and 2022 Women’s Cup Championship. He also brings previous USLW experience to Aurora, coaching for FC Olympia and helping them to an undefeated season, a 2024 Northwest Division title and a National Playoff Quarterfinal finish. He currently holds his USSF B Coaching License.

Eric has also spent time on the business and marketing side of the professional game helping to launch MLS expansion side Atlanta United FC through their inaugural years including their 2018 MLS Cup Championship season.
