Jake Griffith

Boasting over 8 years of broadcasting experience across professional and collegeiate soccer, Jake Griffith returns to the booth for his fourth season as the Aurora FC’s play-by-play voice.

For the last two years, in addition to calling Aurora matches on FOX9 Local, Griffith has regualrly called USL Championship and League One, USL Super League, MLS and MLS NEXT Pro, as well as the US Open Cup. Griffith began his career as Marshall University’s broadcaster from 2017 to 2022, where he covered Thundering Herd soccer (men’s and women’s), basketball (men’s and women’s), baseball, softball, football, swim and dive, tennis, track and field, and volleyball for ESPN Digital. Following his tenure with Marshall, Griffith served in on-air roles for the University of Virginia, the University of St. Thomas (MN), University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, the Ohio Valley Conference and the National Junior College Athletic Association.

Griffith attended Lindenwood University for three years before finishing his Bachelor’s of Journalism at Marshall University.
