Laura Bishop

Laura Bishop is an accomplished executive leader spanning public, private, and civic sectors. A 2022 Minnesota Aurora Community Owner, Laura joined the Board of Directors in 2025 as a community representative and was named Chair of the Board in August 2026.

Her extensive leadership background includes serving as Commissioner of the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, holding executive roles in public affairs and sustainability at Best Buy, and managing her consulting firm, Purpose Strategies.

She currently serves as an advisor and board director for companies focused on climate technology and as a commissioner on the Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority. She is also Senior Fellow and adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota Humphrey School of Public Affairs.

Laura and her husband, Chuck Weber, live in Eden Prairie, and are long-time ticket holders for both Mn Aurora and MNUFC.
