EAGAN, Minn. — Minnesota Aurora FC continued its dominant start to the 2026 season on Thursday night, delivering a commanding 7–0 victory over Rally Madison FC at TCO Stadium to remain perfect through five matches.

With the win, Aurora improved to 5-0-0 (15 points) while extending an incredible stretch of five consecutive clean sheets to open the season.

Minnesota’s attack came from all directions as Ai Kitagawa and Flavie Dubé each recorded braces, while Thalia Morisi, Kalo Iongi, and Angela Gutierrez added goals of their own. Defender Kyra Karfonta earned Star of the Game honors after contributing two assists and helping spark Aurora’s attack throughout the night.

Aurora nearly opened the scoring in the 18th minute before breaking through moments later.

In the 20th minute, Haylee Mersereau delivered a long diagonal ball from midfield into the attacking third where Kitagawa brought it down with her head and finished with a composed one-touch strike past the charging goalkeeper to make it 1–0.

Just two minutes later, Aurora doubled the advantage.

Karfonta pushed forward down the right flank and delivered a dangerous cross to the back post where Morisi rose and headed home her second goal of the season to put Minnesota ahead 2–0.

Aurora carried the lead into halftime before opening the floodgates after the break.

Karfonta again created the opportunity in the 59th minute, driving into space and slipping a perfectly weighted through ball into the box for Iongi, who calmly finished inside the right post for her first goal of the season.

Minnesota continued to pour on the pressure from there.

Gutierrez found the scoresheet in the 71st minute with a close-range finish before Dubé added her first of the evening four minutes later off an assist from Fieldsend.

Kitagawa recorded her second goal of the match in the 78th minute following a setup from Iongi, and Dubé capped the night with her second finish in the 83rd minute to complete the 7–0 performance.

The night also featured contributions throughout the roster, with all 18 available players appearing in the match, including goalkeeper Isaac Ranson, who made his Aurora debut after entering as a second-half substitute.

The result continued Aurora’s remarkable run at TCO Stadium, improving the club to 24-0-2 all-time in regular season matches at home while extending its regular season unbeaten streak to 53 matches.
