Stella Lawson

Lawson returns to the club for her second season in an Aurora shirt in 2025.

During her first season, Lawson did not make an appearance while rehabbing from an injury. She spent 2025 training with the first team.

At the college level, Lawson plays for Coastal Carolina University, which she transferred to ahead of the 2024 season, following two seasons at University of Alabama-Birmingham. Lawson made 25 total appearances for UAB from 2022 to 2023.

The New Zealander made 18 appearances for the Chanticleers during her first season with the program. She, along with Aurora teammate Rami Rapp, helped Coastal to an eight-win season in 2024 and a trip to the Sun Belt Conference Tournament semifinals.

As a sophomore in 2023, Lawson played in 10 matches for 329 minutes, recording two assists on the season.

In 2022, she scored six goals and recorded two assists. Lawson scored a hat trick against Kennesaw State on 8/25. She finished tied for first among all Blazers in goals (six) and points (14), earning Conference USA 3rd Team and All-Freshman Team honors.

Lawson has twice been called into New Zealand Youth National Team Camps (U17 and U20 levels). She was previously ranked the 88th best freshman in the NCAA by Top Drawer Soccer.
