Wimes and No. 22 Kansas remain unbeaten, Aurora forward tallies first goal of 2025
Aurora forward Saige Wimes helped No. 22 Kansas extend their unbeaten run to seven games with a big 4-0 win over Yale. Wimes earned her seventh consecutive start of the season, tallying the fourth and final goal – her first of the campaign and ninth of her career on Sept. 7.


Up Next: Wimes and Kansas head to Lynchburg, Va. for a road match against Liberty on Sunday, Sept. 14; kickoff is at 11 a.m. (CT). Fans can follow along via live stats or with an ESPN+ subscription watch the match live here.

Kane’s stellar start continues as 11th-ranked Hawkeyes get to set to open Big 10 slate
Aurora goalkeeper Taylor Kane continued her excellent start with another win and another shutout in goal for the Iowa Hawkeyes. The graduate student has three shutouts in four starts this season, including most recently in a 5-0 win over Missouri State on Sept. 7.

She was recently named Big Ten Goalkeeper of the Week on Sept. 2 becoming only the third Hawkeye in program history to win Big Ten Goalkeeper of the Week.

Westlund in form for Cal Baptist as Aurora forward leads Lancers to win over Nevada
Aurora forward Ava Westlund helped Cal Baptist remain unbeaten at home this season with a 2-0 win over Nevada on Sept. 7. Westlund earned a penalty kick and stepped to the spot for her second goal of the season. She currently leads the team with two goals and two assists.

Williams making her mark with Brooklyn FC in Gainbridge Super League
One of two Aurora players to make the move to the Super League in 2025, defender Annie Williams has settled in nicely with Brooklyn. The Minnesota native announced herself less than 30 seconds after entering the match in her Super League and Brooklyn debut, scoring what proved to be the game-winner, in the 72nd minute on Aug. 23 against the Tampa Bay Sun.


Williams has played in three of the club’s four matches this season, starting each of the last two matches.

Angela Gutierrez
(Drake) is off to a solid start with the Bulldogs with three assists and a goal in her first seven matches. Her three assists lead Drake so far this season.

Cat Rapp (Kentucky) has been at the center of Kentucky’s offense with five goals and four assists already this season, which ranks her in the top ten in the SEC in points and goals.
