Eagan, MN –   Minnesota Aurora midfielder Arianna (Ari) DelMoral has signed her first pro contract with Birkirkara FC in Malta.  Birkirkara play in the Maltese Women’s League in the first division and are the reigning champions. Their first game is August 18.

DelMoral is an inaugural member of Minnesota Aurora joining the team in 2021. Over two seasons, DelMoral had 21 total games played, 4 goals, 4 assists and 757 minutes helping lead Aurora to back to back Heartland Division Champions and the Central Conference championship in 2023.

DelMoral is from Brooklyn Park, Minnesota and is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and attended graduate school at St. Cloud State where she earned NSIC All-Conference Honors Second Team after starting all 18 games for the Huskies. Prior to joining St. Cloud State’s roster, Del Moral played for the Minnesota Gophers. During her tenure with the Gophers, the midfielder competed in 40 games in Big Ten play with four starts as a junior in 2019. She scored her first collegiate goal as a freshman and notched 21 shots on goal in her final two seasons. Del Moral was an Academic All-Big Ten selection in 2019 and 2020.

“I am very grateful for my last two seasons with Aurora. I was surrounded by an incredible community with so much support and an inspiring team striving to be the best they can be,” commented DelMoral. “Minnesota Aurora’s environment has helped me grow as a player and made me fall in love with the game again. I’m very excited to take on my new journey and carry on all the skills I’ve learned.”

DelMoral becomes the third Minnesota Aurora player to sign professionally following Morgan Turner and Makenzie Langdok.
