Aurora wasted little time setting the tone as Ai Kitagawa found the back of the net in the 8th minute to give the home side an early advantage. Kitagawa struck again in the 24th minute, continuing a relentless attacking push from the Aurora offense. Hannah Boughton added another just before halftime in the 44th minute, sending Aurora into the break with a commanding 3-0 lead.

The second half brought more of the same as Jeanette Fieldsend scored in the 55th minute before Kitagawa completed her hat trick with her third goal of the night in the 60th minute. Talia Coury capped off the scoring in the 64th minute as Aurora cruised to the season-opening victory.

With the win, Aurora begins the 2026 campaign with momentum and confidence heading into a quick stretch of road matches.
