Aurora Season Kickoff May 2nd at La Doña Cervecería

It’s almost May, and around here, that means there’s a lot to celebrate. Of course first and foremost is the beginning of Aurora season (do you have your tickets yet?). But before we get to that, we’ve got a very fun celebration of cultura and fútbol coming up in partnership with our friends at La Doña Cervecería, just in time for Cinco de Mayo!

On Saturday, May 2, please join us at La Doña for a full day of soccer-themed festivities, centered around a 3v3 soccer tournament for women and gender-expansive people. This Kickoff to Aurora Season celebration will run from 2-6 p.m., with play on the outdoor, boarded turf field. Make sure you sign up now if you want to take a run at glory – the first 8 teams to register and pay will be confirmed on the schedule!

More of a sideline cheerleader than an on-the-pitch standout? No worries – we’ve got plenty for you to do as well, including sign making and adult crafts. We hear there may even be a Rory-themed cocktail for you to sample …. 

And just like Aurora match days, this day at La Doña is family-friendly! We’ll have kids’ activities galore, including coloring, crafts, and more, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., as well as an appearance by Rory the Aurorasaurus herself.
