Aurora defender Makenzie Langdok signs Pro contract

Eagan, MN –   Minnesota Aurora defender Makenzie Langdok has signed her first pro contract with ŽFK Spartak Subotica in Subotica, Serbia. The team has won ten national championships, including nine in a row from 2011 to 2019. It also has appeared in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.

Langdok is an inaugural member of Minnesota Aurora joining the team in 2022. She played in 26 of 27 possible games for Aurora and served as one of the first team captains. Over two seasons Langdok had 20 points and 6 all time goals helping lead Aurora to back to back Heartland Division Champions and the Central Conference championship in 2023. 

Langdok is from St. Michael, Minnesota and a graduate of the University of Minnesota where she played 61 total games and 2724 minutes for the Gopher soccer team. 

“I’m so thankful for all of my coaches and teammates at Aurora for challenging and preparing me for this next step in my career,” said Langdok. “Our community and team is so special and I wouldn’t have this opportunity without their support along the way.”

I will always be grateful for everything she gave our program and our community.”
