Minnesota Aurora FC Announces Full Coaching Staff for 2024 Season

St Paul, MN, April 29, 2024  – Minnesota Aurora FC today announces the composition of its coaching staff as the club gears up for its third season. Joining Sporting Director and Head Coach Colette Montgomery are two key additions who bring a wealth of knowledge and a deep understanding of the Minnesota soccer scene: Tom Kleczewski, appointed as the First Team Assistant Coach, and Nicki Le, who joins as the First Team Volunteer Assistant Coach.

Tom Kleczewski – First Team Assistant Coach

Tom Kleczewski brings over 20 years of experience in the Minnesota soccer community to his role as First Team Assistant Coach at Minnesota Aurora FC. With nearly two decades spent coaching college soccer at institutions including University of St. Thomas and Concordia University, St. Paul, Kleczewski has spent his career committed to player development and tactical strategy. His leadership as the Director of Edina Soccer Club and his previous involvement with pre-professional and professional outfits like Minneapolis City SC and the NSC Stars underscore his commitment to fostering talent at all levels of the game.

“I am thrilled to join Minnesota Aurora FC and contribute to the club’s continued growth and success,” said Kleczewski. “Working with our incredible roster alongside Coach Montgomery, I’m eager to harness our collective power to build another successful Aurora season.” 

Nicki Le – First Team Volunteer Assistant Coach

Nicki Le brings a diverse background and a deep passion for soccer to her role as First Team Volunteer Assistant Coach at Minnesota Aurora FC. A former captain of the Minnesota Gophers, Le’s experience on the field is complemented by her involvement in local youth soccer programs and her USSF D coaching license. 

“I am honored to be part of the coaching staff at Minnesota Aurora FC and to contribute to the development of soccer in our community,” said Le. “As we enter our third season, I am excited to work alongside Coach Montgomery and my fellow coaches to help our players reach their full potential.”

“With our full coaching staff and roster finalized, we are ready to kick off a phenomenal season of soccer at Aurora,” added Montgomery. 

The team begins their third season on the road on May 23, with 2024’s Home Opener on May 30 at TCO Stadium in Eagan.
