[St Paul, MN] [January 30, 2024] – Minnesota Aurora FC today announced additions to its coaching staff for the 2024 season, including First Assistant and Director of Camps Colette Montgomery, and Aurora 2 Head Coach Mandy Pochobradsky.

Montgomery and Pochobradsky join Aurora Sporting Director and Head Coach Nicole Lukic, who is entering her third season with the team. “I feel so fortunate to welcome Colette and Mandy to our team,” said Lukic. “I have no doubt their skills will bring out the very best in our players as we continue to develop our player-centric culture.”

Montgomery joins Aurora after spending five years as Manager of Soccer and Head Coach at North Central University, where she led both women’s and men’s teams. She also spent time as Edina Soccer Club’s Director of Coaching, and is a Grassroots Instructor with U.S. Soccer. “I am humbled and honored to be joining Minnesota Aurora FC. I look forward to engaging with the community and contributing to the team’s success this season and beyond.”

Pochobradsky was previously the Assistant Coach for Hamline University’s women’s soccer team. She also spent five years coordinating for Twin Cities Rush, including directing the U14+ girls soccer program. In addition, Pochobradsky has served as a facilitator for Aurora’s open tryouts for the past two seasons. “Joining Aurora at such an exciting time for the organization is an absolute privilege. I look forward to building on the team’s solid foundation and bringing momentum to the development of our second team.”

Lukic, a 2024 Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal 40 Under 40 honoree, will continue to expand Aurora’s coaching roster with additional assistants and Goalkeeper coaching staff prior to the season kickoff in May. The team’s schedule will be announced in February.
