Aurora FC’s Katie Duong Signs Professional Contract with DC Power
EAGAN, Minn. – Minnesota Aurora FC midfielder Katie Duong has signed a professional contract with DC Power Football Club, a member of the USL W Super League.
Duong was a key asset in Aurora’s starting 11 this past season. The Portland, Ore., native was an offensive weapon for Minnesota, leading Aurora in points (27), goals (8), and assists (11).
For her efforts in July, Duong was named USL W League Player of the Month and earned a spot on the USL W League Team of the Month.
“Katie has incredible talent and is the type of player who makes an impact both on and off the field. We are thrilled to see her take this next step in her career and know she has a bright future ahead with DC Power,” said Minnesota Aurora FC Sporting Director and Head Coach Colette Montgomery.
Duong is the fifth Aurora player to sign a professional contract overall and first to sign one in 2024.
